Chart Realm Privacy Policy

Chart Realm is an unofficial visual overlay/customization tool for supported chart pages. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradingView. Chart Realm does not execute trades, provide financial advice, provide trading signals, or collect brokerage credentials.

Data Stored Locally

Chart Realm stores the following in Chrome extension storage:

• User settings such as overlay type, opacity, selected pack, and display preferences.
• Imported pack manifests.
• License status, license key, and entitlement metadata.

The raw license key is stored locally so the user can refresh entitlement status without re-entering it. It is excluded from public runtime state, page-world relay state, and support diagnostics.

Data Not Intentionally Collected

Chart Realm does not intentionally collect brokerage credentials, trading account credentials, trading signals or investment advice requests, order history, full chart history, personal financial account data, or payment card details.

License Verification

When production entitlement verification is enabled, the extension sends the entered license key, optional customer identifier, and extension version to the configured Chart Realm verification endpoint at https://api.chartrealm.app/api/chartrealm/verify-license.

The verification endpoint may contact Lemon Squeezy to validate access and returns entitlement metadata such as license status, plan level, owned pack IDs, and expiration timestamp when applicable.

The extension must not store payment provider API secrets. Payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, not by the extension.

Imported Packs

Imported packs are JSON manifests stored locally. Packs may reference image or audio assets. Users should only import packs from sources they trust.

Diagnostics

The popup can generate support diagnostics. Diagnostics are intended to include extension version, selected pack metadata, license status, and configuration state. Diagnostics should not include the raw license key.

User Controls

Users can remove the extension through Chrome to delete extension-local storage. For entitlement account records stored by the hosted backend or payment provider, users should contact support@chartrealm.app.
