Chart Realm Privacy Policy

Chart Realm is an unofficial visual overlay/customization tool for supported chart pages. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradingView. Chart Realm does not execute trades, provide financial advice, provide trading signals, or collect brokerage credentials.

Local chart content and interactions

Chart Realm processes visible chart rendering, candle geometry and colors locally to position artwork and optional games. It handles mouse, keyboard and supported controller input for chart selection, editing and gameplay. This is functional input handling, not a general keystroke recorder or behavioral advertising system. Chart rendering and control inputs are not sent to the license or download service.

The extension remembers chart selection and layout locally, including the current TradingView chart path used to associate settings with that chart. It does not collect a general browser history or send chart URLs or browsing history to the license service.

When optional alert media is enabled, Chart Realm reads new visible TradingView alert pop-up text locally to prevent duplicate playback. A short-lived digest and playback time are stored in browser session storage. Alert text and imported alert media are not uploaded. Turning the feature off stops monitoring.

Data Stored Locally

Chrome extension storage, browser page storage and IndexedDB retain preferences, candle-color choices, selected experiences, game progress and unlocks, custom themes, imported images/audio/video, editing drafts and revisions, and downloaded game media. Local processing and storage are data handling even when information never leaves the browser. Automatic cloud backup is not included.

The extension also stores purchase/access status, the user-entered purchase key, a random installation identifier, a license-provider instance identifier, signed entitlement tokens, and verification timing information. The raw purchase key is used to refresh access and is excluded from public runtime state, page-world relay state and support diagnostics. The installation identifier is generated by the extension and is not derived from device hardware.

Purchase Verification and License Access

Activation, verification and deactivation send the purchase key, installation identifier, extension version and, where applicable, provider instance identifier over HTTPS to https://api.chartrealm.app/api/chartrealm/verify-license. These identify the license and installation, enforce device limits and return purchased access, expiry and verification status.

The service contacts Lemon Squeezy to validate the license. Provider responses may include purchase, product, order and customer metadata; the extension retains only the access and installation fields needed for licensing, not a Lemon Squeezy customer identifier. Payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, not by the extension. Chart Realm does not request payment card details, brokerage credentials, brokerage order history or personal financial account records from chart pages.

Game downloads and server security

When a user requests paid content, the extension sends the requested collection/object identifiers, a signed entitlement token and license key over HTTPS to the Chart Realm download service. The service checks current access, including with the license provider, before returning signed media/data. Downloaded content is not remotely hosted executable game code.

Cloudflare hosts the service and private media storage. Requests expose IP addresses and ordinary connection metadata to the hosting infrastructure. The application uses a keyed digest of the source IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting; it does not request GPS location or use IP addresses for location-based advertising.

The Chart Realm application does not intentionally keep persistent license-verification logs or customer records. This does not mean no server processing occurs: Cloudflare may retain operational metadata under its service policies, and Lemon Squeezy retains order, payment, customer, license and activation records under its policies. Their retention periods are not controlled by extension-local deletion.

Diagnostics and support

Support diagnostics are generated for users to review and share. They include extension version, selected experience metadata, access status and configuration information, and exclude the raw purchase key. If you email support, we receive the contact details and content you choose to send. Do not include license keys, brokerage details or private chart information in screenshots or support messages.

Limited use and sharing

Chart Realm complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data is used to provide and secure the disclosed customization, game, licensing, download and support features. We do not sell user data or use or transfer it for advertising, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness or lending decisions.

Necessary service providers, including Cloudflare and Lemon Squeezy, process data to host and secure the service and provide payment/licensing functions. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to investigate abuse. Human access is limited to user-authorized support, necessary security work and legal obligations.

Retention, removal and your choices

Local content remains until removed through available extension controls, replaced, or cleared from browser storage. Removing game downloads removes their cached media; it is separate from saved gameplay progress. Back up custom themes before clearing data or uninstalling. Uninstalling clears extension-local storage, but chart-page preferences or session data may require clearing TradingView site data. Clearing that site data can also affect TradingView settings.

Deactivate an installation through the license controls before moving access where possible. Local deletion does not cancel a purchase or automatically remove provider records. For access, correction, deletion or privacy requests, contact support@chartrealm.app. Some provider records may be retained for legal, tax or security obligations.

Public website

The public Chart Realm website may load Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare security features, which process website performance and request metadata. This is separate from the extension's local chart processing; chart artwork and game input are not sent to that website analytics script.
